Lin Xiaoman, a corporate slave, flees to a temple fair on New Year's Eve to escape her mother's marriage pressure. She impulsively twists a "Spring Festival Limited Gashapon Machine" and out pops a handsome man in moon-white Hanfu—"Hello, I'm Jiangshan, your exclusive gashapon boyfriend, valid until the 15th day of the first lunar month." He's like a custom-made partner: defending her against meddling relatives, recreating her childhood New Year's Eve dinner with soft-boiled eggs, and fixing her broken rabbit doll overnight. But as Xiaoman falls for him, she finds her high school photo in his wallet—turns out Jiangshan is Lu Chuan, the senior she saved three years ago, who secretly hid himself in the gashapon machine to win her heart. A carefully planned "accident" becomes a two-way journey across time for both.
