Lin Xiaoman, a down-and-out female screenwriter, is bound to a "ridiculous system". Instead of granting her a reversal or fame, the tasks are to find the orange-flavored milk candy from the childhood of Gu Shiyan, a cold CEO, and repair his 10-year-old fountain pen. While complaining the system "doesn’t follow the script", she is forced to become his "childhood repairer". To her surprise, she finds out she’s the "little crybaby" Gu saved when they were kids. The biggest twist? The "system" is actually a "love trick" Gu asked his friend to create—he recognized her long ago and wanted to use the "tasks" to bring her back into his world. When the trick is exposed, the two secret admirers turn the "ridiculous tasks" into a sweet, sugar-filled daily life.
