Lin Chuan, a underachieving senior high student, accidentally gets a "time reset device" that can send him back 365 days before the college entrance exam. To fulfill his late father's wish of developing controlled nuclear fusion, he gives up slacking off and masters quantum physics, plasma control and other cutting-edge knowledge through 22 resets. However, in the 23rd cycle, he encounters a variable—Su Wanqing, the top student in the grade, suddenly offers to help him organize experimental data. Her secret? Three years ago, Lin Chuan's accidental reset saved her from a fatal car accident. When Lin Chuan finally breaks through the last parameter of controlled nuclear fusion, Su Wanqing says with red eyes: "This time, I don't want to see you restart time alone anymore."
