Lin Xiaoman, a fisherwoman in a coastal village, surveys the sea with her ancestors' sea chart, but is misunderstood by the whole village that she'll ruin their livelihood. Cold-tempered overseas returnee Shen Yi helps her when seeing her grievance, and gradually discovers her secret: the chart shows a giant sea monster is moving recently, and Xiaoman hides it to avoid villagers taking risks and causing disasters. When the village holds a wealth-attracting feast to lure the monster, it really attacks. Xiaoman steps forward to resolve the crisis with wisdom, proves her innocence, protects the village, gains sweet love with Shen Yi, and achieves counterattack to slap those who doubted her.
