Deep in the Xing'an Mountains, an old hunter and his wife Lin Xiaoxiao—who came from the city—lived a simple but sweet life. Their peace was broken when poachers targeted rare resources in the mountains, injuring the hunter and spreading rumors to drive his wife away. In desperation, the hunter awakened his father’s ancestral skills and secretly gathered evidence. After learning the truth, his wife quietly returned. The couple worked together to set traps, not only capturing the poaching gang but also unexpectedly discovering the forest protection fund left by their parents. Eventually, they achieved a complete turnaround and lived a respected, happy life.
