Lin Xiaoman, a young professional in a bustling city, rents an apartment in an old alley with her boyfriend Zhou Ran. Their landlord suddenly announced a 5000-yuan rent hike, leaving all tenants in crisis but too afraid to speak out. Instead of compromising, Lin devised a plan to "clear the whole floor"—she united other tenants exploited by the landlord, presenting evidence of his illegal practices to fight back. Her boyfriend supported her silently along the way, and their relationship deepened through hardship. Eventually, Lin made the landlord pay the price, saved the old alley, achieved an ordinary person's counterattack, and created a sweet and exciting urban love story.
