Chen Dean, a top master of ancient architecture, joins a blind date show incognito to fulfill his promise to his late wife for a “romantic old age”. Dressed in a faded old jacket with half a volume of Song Dynasty ancient architectural surveying manuscripts peeking out of his canvas bag, he’s mocked by guests for his shabby look and told not to “hype for traffic”. Only Su Qing, a young expert from the Palace Museum’s ancient architecture restoration department, spots the manuscripts’ value and defends him. Later, Chen exposes others’ fake ancient architecture collections, slapping the audience hard, which makes Su Qing fall for him deeply.
