Lin Wan, a cultural relic restorer, returns to her hometown to repair murals in an ancient temple, only to reunite with Gu Zhao—her lover who disappeared eight years ago. Now a forest guard, Gu Zhao has a pale scar on his brow, like a layer of spring snow. Back then, Gu Zhao left without a word, and Lin Wan never let go of that unresolved pain. Today, Gu Zhao avoids talking about the past but quietly helps her with restoration challenges. When her father’s archaeological notes, hidden in the murals, are found, the truth emerges: Gu Zhao was chased for protecting those notes years ago. Lin Wan realizes she’s not just repairing murals—she’s thawing the love between them, frozen by time.
