Su Xiao (a sharp-tongued planner) and Lin Xia (a CP-obsessed screenwriter)—two besties who bicker but deeply care for each other—accidentally fall into the "revenge drama" Lin Xia wrote while staying up late shipping CP! Su Xiao becomes a "contract princess consort" hated by the prince (a pawn in her revenge), and Lin Xia turns into a "humble illegitimate daughter" publicly dumped by her fiancé. They expect to fight alone, but find their fates are linked: Su Xiao's prince is Lin Xia's "mysterious benefactor", and Lin Xia's soulmate is Su Xiao's "key revenge ally". The besties instantly switch to "shipping & collaboration mode": outsmarting white lotuses,打脸 (slapping) scum exes, and nudging their own love lives forward. When revenge succeeds, they realize: the sweetest thing isn't others' CP—it's every moment of scheming with a bestie, and the love blooming in their mutual help.
