Lin Xiaoman, a single office worker, has recently fallen into a terror vortex—her documents suddenly get covered in sticky spider silk during overtime, a spider with blood-colored patterns crawls out of the green plants on her balcony, and most eerily, the voice of her deceased grandmother keeps echoing late at night: "Spider silk binds souls, looking for a substitute." At the same time, people in the community are disappearing one after another, and the same red-patterned spiders are captured in the surveillance footage. When Xiaoman finds a spider-web-like red mark emerging on the back of her neck, she finally realizes: those "cursed spiders" hiding in the dark are not ordinary creatures at all—they're after her life...
