Newly hired office worker Lin Wan spots an invisible, constantly rolling ground fissure on her daily commute—only she can see it. Every time she dodges the crack, she falls victim to bizarre mishaps: a parcel hits her head, a bike rear-ends her, and she nearly falls into a construction pit. One day, she bumps into retired detective Lao Chen, who can also see the fissure. Together, they trace its path and uncover that it connects to a three-year-old unsolved girl's disappearance case, with the fissure's final rolling point pointing straight to the culprit hiding in the neighborhood back then.
