Lin Wanxing, owner of a seaside B&B, has clung to the memory of her boyfriend Lu Jingshen, who vanished in a shipwreck five years ago. Until Gu Chuan—an identical lookalike—arrives: he carries Lu’s old pocket watch, knows secrets only the two shared, yet claims no memory of her. As Gu starts having nightmares of the wreck, and a notebook from the sunken ship is found with the line “Let Xingxing forget me”, Lin realizes: she’s never drowned in an old dream, but in her own refusal to wake up. And Gu Chuan—Is he Lu’s “rebirth”, or fate’s final goodbye?
