Lin Xiaoman, a regular cook running a street stall in an alley, accidentally discovers that the dishes she cooks bring "good luck" to those around her—customers get what they wish for, neighbors resolve conflicts, but this "luck" always comes with her own minor misfortunes, such as knocking over baskets when buying groceries or cutting her hand while cooking. One day, she meets Lu Ze, the mysterious president of a catering group looking for his childhood taste. After eating her dishes, Lu Ze solves consecutive crises of his company. As they cooperate and develop feelings, Xiaoman starts to explore the secret behind this "good luck" ability, tangled in whether she can balance cooking, luck and ordinary life, and is drawn into Lu Ze's family business vortex.
