Lin Xiaoman, a corporate drone, hasn’t even dared to send a WeChat message to his goddess-like boss Su Wan in three years—until a team-building activity leads them into an abandoned factory’s “live-action escape room,” where the traps suddenly turn real! When Su Wan’s high-heel breaks, it’s the first time he holds her hand tight; when the fire escape is blocked, she writes “I trust you” on his palm with lipstick. As they smash open the final door with a fire extinguisher, Lin Xiaoman discovers: the woman who’s always cold as frost has secretly kept the receipt of the late-night milk tea he gave her three months ago—this “escape” was her long-planned way to get close.
