Lin Xiaoman's father, an old jade farmer in Hetian, left a last wish to find the "Jade King" at the bottom of the Hetian River. In the end, Xiaoman donates the riverbed as an ecological reserve, realizing her father's real wish was never to find jade, but to protect the Hetian River that nurtured generations of jade farmers.
