Hetian Jade Digging: I Contracted the Entire Riverbed

Lin Xiaoman's father, an old jade farmer in Hetian, left a last wish to find the "Jade King" at the bottom of the Hetian River. To stop the village tyrant Zhou Qiang from seizing the riverbed for illegal mining, Xiaoman uses five years of earnings to "contract" the entire riverbed—actually borrowing the land from villagers to guard her father's legacy. Gu Chuan, a geologist investigating illegal mining, accuses Xiaoman of being a "black mine owner," leading to constant conflicts. When they find her father's blood-stained diary, it reveals Zhou Qiang's past crime: illegal mining caused a collapse, and her father sacrificed himself to save villagers. The "Jade King" turns out to be a stone tablet carved with "Protect the River" by her father. Gu Chuan helps Xiaoman take down Zhou Qiang, and as they protect the riverbed, they fall in love. In the end, Xiaoman donates the riverbed as an ecological reserve, realizing her father's real wish was never to find jade, but to protect the Hetian River that nurtured generations of jade farmers.
