The cat reveals it's actually an interstellar royal who fled to Earth, and the red string is a binding contract—only helping it escape its pursuers can free them both. What follows is a hilarious, warm cohabitation full of absurd troubles, as Lin gradually finds her lost courage in this bizarre but precious bond.
