In 2026, three years after the failure of the "Memory Reset Experiment", survivor Lin Xiaoman suddenly develops "reverse-time aftereffects"—she randomly travels back to the day seven years ago when she broke up with her boyfriend Gu Chuan. But Gu Chuan had long died in an experiment accident, and each regression erodes her present: colleagues act like strangers, her home is occupied by a stranger, and even her ID card vanishes.
