Lin Wan shut herself off from the world after her fiancé’s accidental death, clinging to their joint flower shop “Chun Xin” and sealing all memories of love in dried flower jars. Until backpacker Chen Mo stumbled in—he kept replacing her cherished dried flowers with fresh daisies, teasing her, “How can you see the new spring if you’re stuck in the withered past?” But when Lin Wan found a photo of Chen Mo and her fiancé in his wallet, she realized this man who kept breaking down her “emotional walls” was the “key” her fiancé had entrusted on his deathbed: That spring, the three of them had saved a fawn in the mountains, and her fiancé had said, “If I’m gone, let Chen Mo help you find spring again.” When Chen Mo held a shop full of new flowers and said, “I’m not his replacement—I’m your next spring,” Lin Wan finally understood: The falling of flowers is never an ending, but the start of a new bud.
