Top assassin of the Shen family, Shen Qingtang, loses her memory during a mission and is saved by her sworn enemy, Li Jingshen. To her shock, she becomes the "moonlight" he cherishes most—a gentle family doctor in his mansion. But when she stumbles upon her old assassin token in Li's attic, fragmented memories flood back: she was once tasked to kill Li Jingshen, and Li's parents were murdered by the Shen family. On the night her memories return, Shen Qingtang holds a gun over Li Jingshen's bed, only to find her missing childhood photo under his pillow—had Li known her identity all along? When the blade regains its sharpness, will she carry out her past mission, or will she lay down her weapon for the man who saw her as moonlight instead of a killer?
