Lin Xiaoman, a recent graduate and intern journalist, has always disliked her mom's glamorous best friend Su Wan—always in red dresses, out late, and lately haunting high-end clubs. Determined to "expose her disguise" for her mom, Xiaoman sneaks into the club, only to catch Su Wan sitting on a stranger's lap, clinking glasses with a smile!
