Chen Mo, a loser food delivery guy, took a midnight order for "No. 1 Huangquan Road" to earn the full attendance bonus. When he knocked on the door, he met an old lady in a shroud—it was an "entry test" for the Underworld Delivery System! Since then, he's forced to become an "Underworld Rider": he has to fulfill the quirky last wishes of unjustly dead ghosts (like retrieving a stolen thesis for a scholar ghost or getting back the community dance floor for a square dance aunt ghost) and use cultivation props from the system to solve urban troubles (standing up to his PUA boss, helping a neighbor grandma find her cat). Coincidentally, Lin Xiaoman, the cold-faced forensic doctor he always meets at crime scenes, can see through his "yin-yang identity"—they bicker while teaming up to uncover the human secrets behind the ghosts. And Chen Mo gradually finds out that the ultimate mission of the Underworld System is actually related to his parents who disappeared years ago...
