Lin Xiaoman, a budget travel blogger in 100,000 yuan debt, takes a job guiding a stranger through the wilderness to reach her million-follower goal—only to find her partner is Gu Ye, a proud, pampered CEO who can’t even set up a tent. Gu Ye, caught in a family power struggle, had all his funds frozen and had to hide in the wilderness. Their journey is full of clashes: while Lin eats compressed biscuits, Gu searches for “nearby Michelin restaurants” on his phone; while Lin builds a leaf shelter, Gu complains it’s “not ergonomic”. But when Lin collapses from an old injury, Gu squats by the stream to boil wild fruit soup for the first time; when Gu is surrounded by pursuers, Lin diverts them with her drone. Just as they start to fall for each other, Lin discovers Gu’s “predicament” is fake—he’s long been eyeing her budget travel guides, and he’s the very investor who got her into debt in the first place?
