Urban office worker Lin Xiaoman quits her job and returns to her hometown village after a nervous breakdown from overwork, only to gain the unexpected ability to understand animals! She uses this gift to help villagers, but soon gets caught up in a bigger crisis: a developer plans to bulldoze the village’s forest for a factory, and the animals beg her for help.
