In 2023, struggling musician Lin Xiaoyang accidentally time-travels to 1994 and meets his father Lin Dayong, who was then the lead singer of a rock band. To prevent his father's musical dreams from being shattered by a performance accident, Xiaoyang joins the band incognito. Amidst the era of cassette tapes and vintage recording equipment, father and son gradually understand each other through music and generational clashes. As the fateful performance approaches, Xiaoyang must choose between altering history and protecting his father.
