In 2023, struggling musician Lin Xiaoyang accidentally time-travels to 1994 and meets his father Lin Dayong, who was then the lead singer of a rock band. To prevent his father's musical dreams from being shattered by a performance accident, Xiaoyang joins the band incognito. Amidst the era of cassette tapes and vintage recording equipment, father and son gradually understand each other through music and generational clashes.
