When office worker Lin Chuan sorts old items, he finds an anonymous high school love letter—delicate handwriting reads, "I waited for you under the Ferris wheel," with a half-faded amusement park ticket stub. Memories of Su Wan, his math-tutoring deskmate, flood back: she’d leave an orange candy by his textbook while he studied, never daring to meet his eyes. Following the ticket, Lin Chuan finds the renovated "Star Wish Amusement Park" and runs into Su Wan in a nurse’s uniform—she still smells of orange candy, but smiles, "You’ve got the wrong person." Turns out Su Wan wrote the letter, but now she’s seriously ill and afraid to burden him. Lin Chuan realizes: what he’s been hiding from with endless work isn’t "the girl deep in memories"—it’s the unspoken, "I like you too."
