When office worker Lin Chuan sorts old items, he finds an anonymous high school love letter—delicate handwriting reads, "I waited for you under the Ferris wheel," with a half-faded amusement park ticket stub. Memories of Su Wan, his math-tutoring deskmate, flood back: she’d leave an orange candy by his textbook while he studied, never daring to meet his eyes. Turns out Su Wan wrote the letter, but now she’s seriously ill and afraid to burden him.
