On the eve of her wedding, Su Wan unexpectedly catches her childhood sweetheart Gu Yan—who's about to marry her—flirting with another woman. Holding back all her grievances, she breaks off the engagement resolutely and goes abroad to pursue her architectural dreams. Years later, as a rising architect, she returns to China for a competition and reunites with Shen Yan, her senior who had guarded her silently for years and hidden his love. The past regrets and unspoken affection surface at the reunion, and Shen Yan finally gathers courage to confess. Su Wan is caught between the past and present, while Gu Yan's reappearance further complicates this entanglement.
