A "Dragon-Subduing Arhat" suddenly arrives at Lingyin Temple—solemn in appearance and "omnipotent in magic"—instantly becoming the people’s beloved "living immortal." Meanwhile, the real Jigong, with his ragged look, is mistaken for a fake and kicked out by the monks. When a thousand-year-old spider demon emerges to drain the city’s life force, the "fake Dragon Tamer" flees in terror, and Jigong finally uses his tattered fan to summon Samadhi Fire. But just as he’s about to expose the imposter, he discovers the "fake" is the little beggar he saved ten years ago—who’d dressed as the Dragon Tamer out of admiration for Jigong, wanting to help people but nearly causing disaster. In the end, they team up to defeat the demon, and Jigong learns: The true Dragon Tamer is never about golden robes or grand titles—it’s about a heart willing to save others.
