After a catastrophic crash cut short his professional racing career, ex-racer Chen Mo now makes a living running a humble tuning shop. His peaceful life is shattered when 19-year-old racing prodigy Lin Xiao arrives with a beat-up custom race car, begging him to train her. What's more, Lin's father is the rival driver who caused the accident that ruined Chen's career. The pair start off at odds, but gradually build trust through grueling track drills. They team up to compete in the year's top road race, while uncovering a sponsor's secret sabotage plot, facing their past pains and reclaiming their passion for speed on the track.
