Lin Xiaoman, bankrupt from her business and cheated on by her boyfriend, embarks on a bicycle trip to an ancient town where her late grandma once lived, carrying her grandma's old tea cake. On a stormy day, she's splashed all over with mud by Gu Zhao's car—this man, who just lost his sister, hides his guilt over her death behind a cold facade. They end up at the same homestay by a twist of fate and are forced to team up to search for grandma's former “Jise Tea House”. Along the way, Xiaoman's warmth breaks through Gu Zhao's emotional barriers, while Gu Zhao's thoughtfulness mends Xiaoman's broken heart. When they unearth the “Jise” tea seeds grandma left in the tea house's backyard, they finally understand: all the rain that once drenched their lives was meant to lead them to each other, turning the rest of their journey into a path of clear, sunny skies.
