Five girls from the modern Hanfu club "Qingjin She" accidentally time-travel into an ancient Ming Dynasty painting while restoring a portrait of capital nobles, becoming the lowliest "painting slaves" in the city. Expecting hardship, their modern skills turn out to be superpowers—Su Xiao’s modified Hanfu helps the general’s daughter win the consort selection, Lin Xiaoman’s Western-style makeup regains the prime minister’s wife’s favor, and Zhou Tang’s e-commerce ideas revive Prince Qing’s failing winery... Even the icy Marquis heir, frivolous Prince Rui, and rigid Minister of Works vie to "cooperate" with them, arguing at the palace gate. But as they settle into their spoiled life, the painting’s cracks widen—if it breaks, will they stay forever or vanish into the space-time rift?
