In the chaotic ER hallway at midnight, Dr. Li Zheng answers a chilling call moments after saving a life. An icy voice forces an impossible choice: "Save your wife on the operating table, or save your three-year-old I hold hostage?" His son's terrified cries through the phone shatter him – the child who should be safe at home. As the kidnapper's countdown echoes, the blazing OR light reflects the agony in his eyes. This healer must now gamble with flesh and blood. But when he chokes out his decision, the abductor sneers, "Pity... neither is truly yours." The line goes dead just as the OR lights flicker out, plunging him into deeper darkness.
