Lin Xiaoman, a recently fired office worker, accidentally binds to the "Masked Chess Game" system—she must complete missions using different identities, or face a "reset." Forced to disguise as a cold investor, a cute assistant, even a delivery rider, she stumbles into a corporate tycoon's inheritance dispute. Coincidentally, she repeatedly crosses paths with Gu Shen, a reserved CEO investigating his family's secrets. Their interactions swing from tense rivalry (as "investor" vs. "CEO") to hilarious mix-ups (as "assistant" covering for him at a banquet). But as they team up to solve the mystery, the truth emerges: this "game" was set up a decade ago, and Lin Xiaoman is the key piece all along.
