In the frozen apocalypse, Su Wan huddles in a broken building with her terminally ill mother and young brother, surviving on frozen bread—only to have their rations stolen by a bullying survivor group next door. While others fight over rotten veggies shivering, her family stews braised pork, and Suisui holds up sugar-fried chestnuts yelling, “Sister, eat!” Their little broken building, smelling of home in the howling wind, becomes an envy-worthy “apocalypse miracle” no one can touch.
