Lin Xiaoman, who learned kendo from her grandfather since childhood, is forced to take over the dying "Guixin Kendo Dojo" after his death. She runs into Gu Shiyan, the former dojo master's disciple who's about to go abroad—and this sarcastic man, who calls kendo "obsolete", insists on staying to "help" her.
