Su Jia, a cultural relic restorer, comes to an ancient town to repair Warring States bamboo slips. There, she keeps encountering Lin Su, a mysterious man, by the reed wetland—his face is exactly the same as the "beloved" in her recurring dreams. It turns out Lin Su is a Warring States prince recorded in the slips, who traveled through time to find love due to a past-life obsession, and Su Jia is his past-life lover. But Lin Su’s existence is a "time-space crack"; every extra day he stays brings him closer to vanishing. Su Jia, meanwhile, has closed her heart due to childhood trauma and dares not love again. When the restored slips reveal the blood-written line, "If I go to find her, my soul will shatter," they must choose between a short embrace and eternal loss—Is this millennium-spanning "reed longing" a gift from fate or a final redemption?
