Ah Lin, a "special disciple" of Uncle Nine's hidden sect, is half-human and half-zombie. Years ago, Uncle Nine used a forbidden technique to lock his humanity to save his friend's son, making him the most effective "living weapon" against zombies. Until Ah Lin meets Ah Ruan, a girl bitten by a zombie. He instinctively uses his zombie blood to delay her transformation, accidentally exposing his half-zombie identity. Meanwhile, the residual soul of the Corpse King, missing for twenty years, reappears, manipulating a zombie tide to approach the town, and reveals a cruel truth: Ah Lin's "humanity lock" is breaking. If he doesn't find the Corpse King's natal bone within seven days, he will become a mindless zombie. Torn between Uncle Nine's upbringing, Ah Ruan's affection, and his desire to "be human," Ah Lin must choose—slay the Corpse King to redeem himself, or become the Corpse King's vessel?
