A pampered princess falls from a cliff and loses her memory, rescued by a rugged hunter. Ridiculed by villagers for taking in a 'foolish wife', he cherishes her with coarse rice and tattered cloaks. When her royal identity resurfaces, the woodsman trades his axe for a soldier's blade, wading through carnage to forge himself anew. Three bloody years turn the peasant into a scarred general. Kneeling before the throne in battle-stained armor, he rasps: 'I offer my bones as your steps, this kingdom as my dowry—will my princess claim her reckless hunter?'
