Left-behind children Xiaotang and her brother Xiaoyu survive by collecting scrap. One day, they find a limited-edition wallet with an old photo—exactly like their late mother’s portrait! Following the business card inside, they locate the owner, Gu Jingshen, a group CEO just returned from abroad. Seeing the birthmark on the back of the photo, Gu’s eyes redden suddenly: “You’re the kids I’ve searched for ten years!” It turns out he was forced to separate from their mother years ago; after her death, the siblings were abused by relatives. Gu picks them up on the spot: “I’ll raise you from now on—no one dares bully you!” Since then, the scrap-collecting beggars have become the Gu family’s treasures, leaving those who once despised them totally stunned.
