Top criminal lawyer Su Wan accidentally travels to the Great Tang Dynasty, turning into a sickly legitimate daughter cursed by her whole family as "a disaster that brings her father's death and the ruin of the family". Right after waking up, she is snubbed by relatives, bullied by her half-sister, and even regarded as a misfortune by local officials. When everyone waits to see her collapse completely, a case of corruption by a corrupt official in neighboring county is brought to the public court. With modern legal concepts and professional defense skills, Su Wan breaks her former cowardice, argues sharply with scholars and officials in court, and exposes the corrupt official's crimes directly. She not only clears her name from the "disaster" stigma, but also shocks the imperial court, starting her cool road to success as an ancient female litigator.
