Su Wan, a food blogger, finds her golden chef boyfriend Lin Shen missing, leaving only a recipe book titled "Golden Twelve Dishes". To uncover the truth, she traces their love story through each dish—beef brisket with tomatoes was his warm rescue on a rainy night, Longjing shrimp was their engagement surprise on the terrace... But the deeper she digs, the more horrified she becomes: every ingredient hides Lin Shen's secret—he's a corporate spy sent by a rival to steal her family's restaurant recipe? When she solves the 11th dish, the 12th is named "Breakup Meal". Just as Su Wan's heart breaks, a note on the last page reveals: Lin Shen's "betrayal" was a lie—he faked it to protect her from the rival's harm, and the 12th dish holds his unspoken devotion.
