Social-phobic cartoonist Su Xiao is forced to share an old villa with emergency doctor Lin Shen due to her landlord's last-minute breach of contract. One is a night owl who drafts until midnight, the other a discipline freak who runs five kilometers every morning. From bickering over the bathroom to silently helping each other fend off suitors, Su Xiao realizes the “ideal boyfriend” in her new comic is slowly turning into Lin Shen’s face—unaware that Lin Shen’s hidden notes in his medical records are filled with lines like “The porridge she cooked today was a bit burnt, but sweet” and “The way she bites her pen while drawing is just like the little kitten I saved.” When the two finally stop pretending not to notice, every heartbeat under the same roof whispers, “I’ve liked you for a long time.”
