In the 1980s Kowloon Walled City, a lawless den of vice. Chen Mo, a small-time thug, infiltrates the city’s largest gang “Longxing Society” to avenge his sister, who was brutally killed by gangsters. But he never expected that Lin Wanqing, the gang leader’s daughter, is the “little mute” who saved him in an alley years ago—now she’s secretly investigating her father’s drug trafficking crimes. What’s more shocking: his sister’s death wasn’t an accident, but a frame-up designed to blame “Longxing Society,” and a bigger mastermind is pulling the strings behind all the dark deals in the city. Torn between revenge and old feelings, Chen Mo must navigate gang infighting, police infiltration, and layers of mystery to uncover the “web of deceit” hidden in Kowloon Walled City for a decade… When an underworld lord rises, will he climb to the top with blood, or hold onto his last shred of humanity?
