Su Wan travels alone to the rumored "cursed" Laurel Winery to find her missing brother, applying for a helper job. On her first night, she catches Gu Jingshen, the winery owner, burning a blood-stained oak barrel—engraved with her brother's employee ID. Gu confines her to the winery with a "confidentiality agreement," but cracks emerge: strange gurgles from the basement at night, blank entries for "golden wine" in the ledger, and her brother's phone with an unfinished message: "They use living people..." When Su pries open the secret room door hiding the "golden wine," she's horrified—her brother has tubes sticking out of his body, "brewing" something into the barrel, and Gu's voice rings from behind: "Look, this is the winery's sweetest secret..."
