Lin Chen, a grassroots construction worker, gains extraordinary x-ray vision after an accidental fall into water. He can see through object details and people's heart disguises. Once bullied by the crooked foreman and excluded by colleagues, he uses his x-ray vision to solve crises repeatedly: exposing the foreman's plot to switch building materials, uncovering underhand bidding operations, and even discovering hidden wealth clues by accident. No longer a pushover, he stands up for himself and others with his x-ray vision, rises against all odds, sweeps away all who have troubled him, and becomes the winner of his own life.
