Su Xiao, a modern supermarket chain president, crashes her limited-edition Benz and travels back to a state-owned factory alley in 1983. Her mobile payment is mistaken for "fraud," but she uses marketing tactics to help Lin Weidong, a poor street vendor, sell clothes—only to get caught in a battle for the factory store's management rights.
