Lin Xiaoman, a corporate slave, has a roommate Gu Chuan—a dramatic painter who turns their rental into a paint mountain, steals her precious milk tea, and even uses her face masks for "art". Fed up, Xiaoman yells at a shooting star, "Take my roommate away!" To her surprise, Gu Chuan announces he's moving for a sketching trip the next day.
