Lin Wan, a female journalist, forms a team to penetrate the northwest uninhabited zone in search of her missing brother, a scientific expedition member. But they stumble into the "Python Abyss"—a death trap wrecked by illegal mining, where giant pythons roam and survival hangs by a thread. To her terror, her brother appears in the mining team's surveillance, and the pythons' ferocious attacks seem to guard a decade-old buried truth. As human greed clashes with nature's vengeful rage, Lin Wan must risk her life to choose between rescuing her brother and uncovering the truth.
