Urban architect Su Xiazhi returns to her hometown Wild Valley, which she hadn't been back to for a decade, with her grandmother's old blueprints. She is shocked to learn that the land she once ran around in her childhood is about to be developed into a high-end resort. Leading the opposition is Lu Ye, her former childhood sweetheart who is now a nature conservationist. A misunderstanding from ten years ago makes them clash as soon as they meet. But as the summer solstice approaches, the "promise between wilderness and solstice" left by her grandmother gradually comes to light. The truth of their separation years ago intertwines with their current choice between saving the wilderness or building new homes, leaving a dual suspense about love and protection in the midsummer breeze.
