Zhou Xiaoman, a "junk collector" at the foot of Kunlun Mountain, makes a living by picking up broken jade. One day, he brings back a cracked old jade, and at midnight, a古装-clad (ancient-costumed) "Jade Spirit" named A Zhao crawls out—claiming he's the long-lost "Jade Fate Inheritor" and will take him to the Kunlun secret treasure. But Xiaoman only has eyes for his money-filled sack; he tries to steal the top-quality jade A Zhao points out to sell, but gets messed up by the spirit's magic every time. Worse, A Zhao says "Jade Fate" is to guard, not to take, but Xiaoman's sack is already full of obsession with money... When the secret treasure's door opens, will he choose a sack of gold, or the thousand-year promise to guard the jade vein with A Zhao?
