Lin Xiaoman, unemployed and heartbroken, receives an old abacus from her late grandfather—with "Came the Fortune" carved on its copper beads. Strangely, every time she calculates "how much to earn" with it, she finds money or wins a lottery the next day. But the money always slips away: paying a neighbor's medical bills, saving a stray cat, even covering an elderly stranger's meal. It's not until she finds her grandfather's diary that she understands: the abacus was never for quick wealth. What her grandfather wanted to teach her is—true "fortune" isn't about money. It's the warmth in her heart, the踏实 feeling of helping others—that's more precious than any windfall.
